Advisory for complex terrain

Every business has a terrain. We help you chart the way through it.

PBAS Group guides ownership teams and boards through growth, restructuring, and transformation — with the rigor of a survey and the judgment of counsel who has walked the ground before.

Four ways we get involved

Each engagement is scoped narrowly enough to move fast, and framed widely enough to see where the decision actually leads.

Waypoint 01

Strategic Growth

Market entry, expansion planning, and capital strategy for leadership teams ready to scale deliberately rather than opportunistically.

Waypoint 02

Mergers & Restructuring

Due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration that protects value at every stage of the transaction.

Waypoint 03

Governance & Risk

Board advisory, risk frameworks, and succession planning built to hold up under real scrutiny, not just pass it.

Waypoint 04

Operational Transformation

Process, systems, and organizational design that turns a strategy document into how the company actually runs.

Our approach

A fixed method, applied to your specific ground

The sequence doesn't change. What we find at each phase does — which is exactly why we don't skip any of them.

Phase 01

Assess

We survey the current position — financials, operations, governance, market exposure — before recommending anything.

Phase 02

Chart

We plot a small number of viable routes forward, with the trade-offs and risk of each made explicit.

Phase 03

Execute

We work alongside your team through the transaction, restructuring, or transformation itself — not from the sidelines.

Phase 04

Sustain

We build the governance and reporting that keeps the outcome intact after our engagement ends.

Let's plot your course.

A consultation is a conversation about where you actually are — not a sales pitch. We'll tell you plainly if we're not the right fit.

Consultations are confidential and typically scheduled within one week.
Before you call

Questions leadership usually asks first

The first consultation is complimentary. We use it to understand your situation and tell you plainly whether we're the right fit before any engagement begins.

Most engagements begin within two to three weeks of the initial consultation, depending on scope and how quickly internal data can be shared.

Most of our engagements are with mid-market, family-owned, and founder-led companies — typically $10M to $500M in revenue. If you're outside that range, we'll say so directly in the first call.

Yes. Every consultation and engagement is bound by confidentiality, and we're happy to sign an NDA before any detailed discussion if you'd prefer.

If it's a fit, we'll send a short written scope and estimated timeline before any commitment is made. Nothing is billed before you've agreed to that scope in writing.
